Job Description:

Performs established nursing procedures using clinical knowledge. Scrub/Circulate in variety of services is a plus. Must be able to work under stress and deal effectively with a variety of people. New hospital opened on November 17,2019. Interventional platform opening 20 operating rooms and 6 Hybrid suites. CVOR (cardiac, thoracic and vascular) case load is approximately 4500 cases and growing each year. If you Apply to this req your primary service is CVOR, you must be able to Circulate and or Scrub Complex Cardiac, Vascular (including hybrid) and Thoracic cases. CVOR nurses are required to scrub at least thoracic and vascular procedures. For those without scrub experience you must be willing to learn. You must have minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience in the last 5 years. Must take call on evening, nights, weekends and holidays.

Job Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.

Education: Graduate from an accredited nursing program. Prefer BSN.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years acute care Hospital Operating Room experience

Licensure/Certification:

Current California RN License

Current AHA Healthcare Provider BCLS certification

CNOR preferred

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Effective communication skills verbally and in writing.
