The Position:

Based in Kansas City, the Inside Sales Specialist B2Bis responsible for (a) handling all incoming inquiries regarding partnering with A Place for Mom (b) verifying license status of new customers and inputting new customer agreements into A Place for Mom’s internal CRM; (c) responding to inquiries regarding partnership status on existing partnerships; (d) maintaining the data integrity of the CRM database; and (d) providing ongoing assistance to the Customer Acquisition Managers. This person possesses great organizational skills, extreme attention to detail, and a strong teamwork mentality.


Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to incoming requests (calls and emails) from communities looking to partner with A Place for Mom.

  • Understand customer needs and requirements.

  • Educate potential communities about the services and offerings of A Place for Mom.

  • Present benefits of partnering with A Place for Mom.

  • Perform effective online demos to prospects

  • Sign on new communities that meet APFM customer qualifications and regulatory requirements.

  • Verify license status of new customers and input new customer agreements into A Place for Mom’s internal CRM.

  • Route other qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure.

  • Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals

  • Maintain integrity (both accuracy and completeness) of customer-related data in APFM CRM database.

  • Respond to internal inquiries from peers and other departments regarding partnership status.

  • Other tasks as assigned.


Required Skills and Competencies

  • Proven inside sales experience

  • Strong phone presence and experience handling dozens of calls per day

  • Experience working with a CRM

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

  • Strong listening and presentation skills

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effective

  • Incorporate APFM Values into each customer and co-worker interaction.

  • Excellent attention to details, and superb organizational skills.

  • Proven ability to review documents for accuracy.

  • Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline oriented work environment.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree preferred.

Proficiency with the MS Office product suite, Zoom, Google sheets/docs and DocuSign.

Compensation The position is an hourly, non-exempt position.
