Line Cooks: The Hole in One, Inc. dba The Fairway Restaurant & Pizzeria located in North Eastham, MA; The Hole in One Breakfast and Lunch located in Orleans, MA, both on Cape Cod and in Barnstable County: Temporary, Full-time, 04/01/2021-11/15/2021, at least 35 hours p/week, 5 days p/week, days and shifts may vary, 6am-2pm and/or 3pm-11pm. (9) Openings. Will train to prepare, season, and cook soups, meats, seafood, vegetables, desserts, and other food items in a restaurant. Comply with local, state, and federal regulations, orders, and mandates related to cleaning and sanitation required to combat COVID 19. No education or prior experience is required. On the job training is provided. $16.38 p/hour or $24.57 p/hour for overtime as it may be available. Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $12.68 p/day during travel to a maximum of $55 p/day with receipts. Employer will use a single workweek for computing wages starting Tuesday at 12:01 am and ending Monday at 11:59 pm and the employee will be paid on Friday (weekly) by company check. H-2B workers will be provided with reimbursement by company check during the first workweek for visa, visa processing and related costs, except passport costs. All deductions required by law will be deducted weekly. No transportation is provided to worksite.
