As a Provider Consultant for Select Physician Associates your responsibilities will include building dynamic relationships with Physicians in your market area, while collaborating with our Quality, STARS and HEDIS teams to help close the care gaps for our Medicare members.
Working out of our Orlando region, you will learn and additionally be responsible for the following:
Recruitment and contracting of Primary Care Physicians to work with Medicare members by utilizing general market knowledge and ability to network
Directly responsible for practice outcomes against risk adjustment, utilization and quality care
Train medical office teams around quality measures such as GPRO and medicare risk adjustment
Work with management to turn negative outcomes to positive outcomes by identifying challenges such as:
Reports on office quality and financial metrics
Number of times providers see their patients
Chronic disease progression and high risk patients
Track, research and resolve provider issues in coordination with internal departments
Providing additional education via internal department collaboration
Flexibility with availability; evenings/weekends
Attend and participate in regional programs guiding MRA, GPRO, Bootcamps, etc.
Additionally confirm provider attendance
Build/Leverage positive relationships to drive outcomes with an understanding of Provider engagement and emotional intelligence.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Proven ability to effectively engage an audience and produce wanted change
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Curiosity and an ability to master an industry with hands on training
Excitement around problem solving with attention to detail
Ability to manage time and identify opportunities to grow and excel as a team
Strong computer skills with an understanding of G Suite - Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Docs, Sheets
Education: Higher education in communications, business, healthcare or related field
Previous work in healthcare industry
Coordinating across a matrix organization
Communicating with physicians and business executives
Valid Driver?s license and transportation for regional travel
Education: Bachelor?s degree in communications, business, healthcare or related field
Experience: Marketing/Advertising - Focus on social media, print marketing, and community outreach
Understanding of Medicare and the mechanics of a primary care office
Local physician, broker, or payor relationships
