Aerotek Applications Engineer in Orlando, Florida

Description:

We are looking for an Applications Engineer that is interested in designing, building, testing software and hardware for a company heavily involved in electronics and radio communications.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing hardware and software necessary to perform functional and diagnostic testing on various electrical assemblies , Unit Under Test, or UUT.

  • Perform analysis on UUTs to understand the functionality of the UUT and to determine test requirements.

  • Design interface adapters requiring generation of an electrical schematic or wire list of wiring to connect the UTT input/output I/O to the test station I/O.

  • Implement test requirements defining input signals which can be applied to the UUT and in turn determine the corresponding outputs.

Qualifications Include:

  • Experience in Software Development in C++ and C# required.

  • Knowledge of RF Measurements.

  • Communication and/or bench test equipment (i.e. oscilloscope, multimeter and audio generator)

  • Knowledge of LabVIEW desired.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (BSEE) , Degree in Computer Science is preferred.

  • C, MATLAB, and LabVIEW a plus

  • Fluent in and ability to demonstrate Object Oriented Design practices.
