SC Department of Public Safety Administrative Specialist II/Holly Hill Clinic in Orangeburg County, South Carolina
Works under the supervision of the Director of Administration. Must be able to perform a wide range of day-to-day advance administrative duties to include:
The Holly Hill front office is open and ready for business promptly at 8:30A.M. daily as scheduled.
Utilization of the SCDMH/OAMHC computer based programs to complete assigned tasks (i.e. CIS, EMR, etc.) according to Agency Policies and Procedures.
Scheduling Mental Health Clinicians, Physician's Assistant, RN's and Psychiatrist appointments and accurately open patients records using the Intake Process.
Ensure that the clinic Medical Records are maintained and competed timely according to the SCDMH/OAMHC policy and procedures.
Daily collecting and receipting fees using the CASHPRO and ONLINE Enterprise systems.
Professionally retrieve and route calls from multiple phone lines and address every aspect of the community, patients, and staff concerns daily.
Obtaining annual financial updates from patients and ensure the data is entered in the system correctly.
Maintain documentation/records and reports according to HIPPA, Federal, State and Local SCDMH, OAMHC, CARF and Corporate Compliance guidelines are followed.
Efficiently and effectively perform all duties as it relates to the COVID-19 Pandemic Check-in Process.
Serve in the Administrative Pool (as needed) to the OAMHC and its satellite (Calhoun, Denmark and Holly Hill) Offices.
This position is located in Holly Hill, SC with the Holly Hill Area Mental Health Clinic. The Holly Hill Clinic is a satellite office under the division of the Orangeburg Area Department of Mental Health, 2319 St. Matthews Road, Orangeburg, SC 29118
Minimum and Additional Requirements
STATE REQUIREMENTS: A high school diploma and work experience that is directly related to the area of employment. Related clerical experience may be substituted for a high school diploma.
AGENCY REQUIREMENTS: A high school diploma and 2 years of clerical experience or an associate degree in secretarial science or other related field or 3 years of clerical experience.
