Aerotek Quality Technician in Ooltewah, Tennessee

Description:

To provide guidance and direction with respect to product quality during the manufacturing process. Also follow, monitor, and resolve quality issues along with support production guidance's.

  1. Monitor and maintain the quality level of product.

  2. Use various tools, fixtures, measurement devices to analyze functionality of product.

  3. Recognize and disposition of product requiring sort, rework or scrap based on customer specifications.

  4. Document and complete required checks utilizing electronic or hard copy means to record product status.

  5. Manage product containment activity when necessary and determine clean points with operational assistance.

  6. Advise operators, supervision on current and historical part quality and acceptability.

  7. Perform various other jobs as deemed necessary and appropriate.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  1. High School diploma or GED equivalent.

  2. Experience in Quality Assurance in a manufacturing environment is required

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  1. Must be a self-starter

  2. Must possess a great attention to detail
