Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
The Business Analyst offers functional and in depth analysis in support of project scope and objectives. Utilizing problem solving and analytical skills to support current processes and assist in the creation of process improvements. Provide on-going quality checks on work in progress in conjunction with the Product Lead to help avoid costly or disruptive errors. Must be comfortable with leading projects from start to finish and demonstrate an ownership mentality with objectives and overcoming challenges. Hands-on experience with requirements gathering: writing user stories, Mock up, Field level specification, Forms, Product Model, Rating & data mapping is required. Proven track record of creating clear, concise deliverables that reflect a deep understanding of business needs and the software functionality. Candidate will be responsible for providing day-to-day client service within a fast-paced Agile IT environment supporting a major system modernization. Candidate’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Support Product owner and Product Manager
Support developing the product vision, product capabilities and priorities, and product roadmap
Support synthesizing input from business, user research, technical solutions to refine the product roadmap and Integrated roadmap
Write epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and tasks in Jira
Manage Jira board
Support assessing risks and issues and develop mitigation and resolution strategies
Supports grooming activities and supports the Product Manager to decompose experiences into epics and user stories
Qualifications
Required:
US Citizenship required
Bachelor's Degree required
Must be able to work East Coast business hours
5+ years experience with the following:
Experience with Agile framework (Scaled Agile Framework preferred)
Excellent facilitation and communication skills
Ability to write epics and user stories using the industry best practice
Preferred:
Experience with Jira
Ability to independently lead workshops with a large audience, when necessary
Experience with end-to-end development of a product
Additional Requirements

This position is open to candidates virtually from Montana, New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming, Arizona or Eastern, Pacific, Central, and Aleutian time zones.
