Norman Regional Health System Medical Assistant - Ortho Central - Full-Time - Norman , OK in Oklahoma

From the high school athlete who tears an ACL to the retiree who needs a knee replacement, Ortho Central is here for each and every one of our patients. Our expert team includes four orthopedic surgeons, a sports medicine physician, bone health experts, physical therapists, and workers’ compensation specialists.  Ortho Central has two convenient locations in central Oklahoma: our office in Midwest City and our office in Norman. Our skilled providers can evaluate and treat a wide range of orthopedic injuries including sports-related fractures, foot and ankle surgery, and hip, knee and shoulder reconstructive surgery.

-Providing excellent customer service to patients while supporting providers and other clinic staff

-Clinical assistance of patient flow and information gathering

Administrative paperwork for surgical pre-authorization and medical clearance

Assisting with provider surgical and clinical schedules

Communication of X-rays and medical supply inventory/ordering

-upport providers with other administrative tasks, as needed


High school diploma or equivalent, specialty MA education/training (highly preferred)


1+ years healthcare experience highly preferred.

The ideal candidate will have accurate keyboarding skills, experience in customer service, strong communication and technical skills.

(Above requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and experience)

CERTIFICATION: Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (highly preferred)
