Villagio Senior Living Life Enrichment Director in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

The Life Enrichment Coordinator will be responsible for planning activities based on our residents’ interests, needs and abilities to enhance their quality of life.


  • Develops a Life Enrichment program based on residents’ interests, needs and abilities, enhancing their wellness and quality of life.

  • Creates a Life Enrichment calendar and newsletter that describes the scheduled activities, events and outings.

  • Plan and execute events including but not limited to holiday celebrations, family nights, or birthday parties.

  • Work with the marketing team to plan and execute marketing events.

  • The Life Enrichment calendar and newsletter will meet Villagio programming standards.

  • The Life Enrichment calendar will meet state-specific standards.

  • Responds to communications in a timely manner and meets deadlines.

  • Establishes and maintains a volunteer program through recruiting and provides training and support for volunteers where applicable and as needed.

  • Completes new resident and annual assessments to identify our residents’ interests.

  • Additional duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of one-year senior living, hospice, in-home health care, or skilled nursing experience in a therapeutic recreation and / or senior activities role

  • Must have a driver’s license

  • Will need to have exceptional problem-solving and time management skills

  • The ability to work a full shift, come to work on time and work overtime as needed

  • Ability to work occasional evenings or on a weekend when hosting family, holiday, or other special events

  • The ability to work according to the necessary schedule to meet job requirements with or without reasonable accommodation

  • Ability to create event flyers or other promotional materials using word documents, Microsoft Publisher, or online platforms.

  • Ability to write short articles for the monthly newsletter, and ability to complete the calendar and newsletter using correct spelling, punctuation, and standard English grammar.
