DN Tanks Traveling Concrete/Civil Superintendent-East Region in OH, United States

Summary/Objective:

The Civil/Concrete Superintendent is responsible for all aspects of on-site project management and supervision of the entire tank building process. The Superintendent acts as the senior manager on site and is responsible for maintaining the required production and safety goals of others on site. The Superintendent will initially be assigned to a project based in Baltimore, then will work on projects within DN Tanks' East Region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively understands, complies with, and manages DN Tanks? Safety Program and policies for all employees and subcontractors

  • Maintains DN Tanks Safety certifications (First Aid, CPR, OSHA-30, etc.)

  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized job trailer and job site and fosters a ?Zero Unsafe Acts & Conditions? policy on the job site at all times

  • Performs QC inspections as part of the DN Tanks Quality Control Program and sets standards for crews in line with the DN Tanks Construction Manual and Contract Documents

  • Manages and troubleshoots QC issues as they arise by communicating with Engineering and Construction Teams as appropriate

  • Delivers financial results that meet or exceed the company goals for cost and productivity, closely monitors weekly reports and identifies any issues with costs as they occur

  • Manages crew size, labor costs, project materials and expense costs while working closely with the project manager and field operations manager

  • Produces calendar schedules, effectively manage project to ensure schedule dates are achieved

  • Manages the scheduling of deliveries to ensure there are no delays

  • Hire, train, and manage local work force, identifying high potential travelling candidates

  • Manage training goals and provide feedback to employee and Director of Technical Training

  • Understand and communicate current DN Tanks policies

  • Professionally represent DN Tanks at all time with a goal of 100% customer satisfaction

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to perform tasks outdoor at heights between 20ft to 120ft

  • Experience as a Superintendent or Foreman

  • Any construction certifications are a plus

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
