Under the general supervision of the Supervisor of Social Work Services, participates as a member of the treatment team to provide psychosocial assessments, clinical interventions and discharge planning to patients and their families. This position is open to both MSWs and LCSWs.
Graduate of an accredited school of social work required (MSW)
LCSW is preferred
2 years professional social work experience in a hospital setting or comparable setting preferred or 1 year Social Work intern within an acute medical setting
Experience with clinical assessment for clients with complex medical, emotional and social needs required
