Nyon Site CI / Strategic Programs Lead

In this role you will:

  • As chair, assure effectiveness of Strategic Projects Steering Committee in governance of Ambition deployment to track progress of the site Ambition deployment road-map including effective resource allocation

  • Lead the team of GPS practitioners and responsibility for building the GPS capability within the site. Work with Site Director and SLT to identify and agree on the GPS implementation in alignment with the Site Ambition deployment.

  • Implement ManEx capability plan

  • Support / Deliver the required training.

  • Coach Site teams to develop and sustain Continuous Improvement mindset

  • Active member of regional ManEx network; including regional calls and sharing best practices

  • Conduct assessment on site to determine application of ManEx standards and address gaps or noncompliance directly and transparently with Site leadership

  • Benchmarking the Site performance against other sites / companies.

  • Maintain, develop and formalize standards, creating business practices that establish and support necessary actions for each performance discipline

  • Work cross functionally to expand good practice across the business

  • ‘Air traffic control’ of OpEx/CapEx Ambition related projects

  • Long term business planning & strategy process for Nyon Site

  • Provide expert direction to the CH network and community to become a best in class performing company, ie. Digital industry 4.0

  • Lead and secure implementation of Value Engineering projects through network of Subject Matter Experts

Why you?

Qualifications & Skills:

  • University Degree (BSc) or equivalent ideally in Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality or Logistics

  • Held a number of Leadership positions in a manufacturing environment, covering a broad range of activities and operations (e.g. Production, Engineering, Quality Assurance / Logistics / Safety).

  • Demonstrated significant leadership of improvement initiatives and/or culture change year-on-year resulting in both financial and non-financial benefit, and behavioural change

  • Strong business acumen

  • Very good level of understanding of Lean / Sigma (Master Black Belt / Black Belt / Green belt – possible)

  • Continuous Improvement skills

  • Networking and influence at Site Management Team level

  • Diagnosis of complex performance issues and problem-solving in the context of site goals

  • People change management concepts and practice

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

  • University Degree (BSc) / MBA or similar in Business, Program Management, Lean & 6-Sigma

  • Training skills

  • Strong coaching skills

  • Project / Program planning and execution management

  • Manufacturing strategy
