This position will be at our North Brunswick, NJ location.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

• Practice and enforce safety according to standards

• Use problem solving tools and collaborate with team members to eliminate safety issues

• Provide hourly updates of line productivity and goals

• Follow and improve our production systems and standard work to create high quality windows

• Identify process constraints and use our Management System to improve line flow and balance Maintain Front Line Management visual management tools (PVA, run charts, focus boards, and other tools) to drive continuous improvement

• Use the flow report to produce our customers windows on time

• Participate in projects, Kaizens, and other continuous improvement activities

• Proficiently use problem solving tools and methodologies such as 5 Why, PDCA, and focus boards

• Lead approximately 20 production associates as direct reports

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2+ years of experience in leading a team within the manufacturing or similar industry

• Strong skills in communication (written/verbal), time management, and problem solving

• Ability to learn products, processes, and equipment

• Ability to lead, train, coach, and motivate employees

• Ability to make sound decisions and delegate appropriately

• Working knowledge of computer systems – Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

• Bilingual in Spanish, Creole, Hindi or Gujarati is a plus, but not required

• Lean manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required
