Wells Fargo Technology is looking for a candidate who will be working on engineering, design, build and support of J2EE Web Portal for platform self service. The candidate will:

  • Work with diverse business functions and development team across multiple line of businesses

  • Get an opportunity to understand functioning of current web applications and deployed components and integrations

  • Have to understand systems and application code to troubleshoot and provide guidance to app dev teams

  • Consult with internal business groups to provide application software development services or technical support.

  • Provide comprehensive senior-level technical consulting to IT management and senior technical staffs.

  • Analyze, define and document requirements for data, work-flow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environment, interface with other systems, internal and external checks, controls, and outputs using standard development methodology.

  • Evaluate compliance with the organization's technology standards.

  • Work with internal business groups on implementation opportunities, challenges, and requirements of various applications.

  • Analyze information and provides recommendations to address and resolve business issues for a specific business group.

  • Guide and consult with IT management and technical staffs regarding use of emerging technologies and associated services.

  • Participate in defining corporate implementation and integration strategies of new technologies.

  • Advocate for innovative, creative technology solutions.

  • Contribute to the achievement of area objectives.

The candidate will be expected to solve software, and infrastructure problems in relation to complex web application portal. They will design and develop automated stress testing harnesses, recommend and implement solutions, participate in and conduct code review sessions, and provide process improvements. The candidate will additionally be expected to provide hands on technical support, advice, and consultation with open issues relating to supported applications plus assure:

  • Security risk controls, and compliance for those application platforms.

This individual will work with development and technical support teams on application and/ or patch installation, configuration, systems integration, testing, user acceptance testing, deployment and post go-live support. They will be part of the 24X7 escalation support process for all Wells Fargo Platform Management environments. The position will take a key role in support and implementation of application infrastructure that requires collaboration across various infrastructure teams to integrate best practices and efficiencies into production environments while mitigating risk through testing and capacity planning.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of systems support analysis experience demonstrated through work or military experience

  • 3+ years of experience working in managed services as demonstrated through work, military, or education

  • 10+ years of Java experience

  • 5+ years of JavaScript development experience

  • 5+ years of JavaScript framework experience (YUI, Angular, Node)

  • 5 + years of J2EE experience

  • 5+ years of Hibernate experience

  • 5+ years of RESTful or SOAP web services

  • 5+ years of Web Services experience

  • 5+ years of Multi-Threading Experience

  • 5+ years of JMS (Java Message Service) experience

  • 4 + years of experience developing web applications utilizing HTML 5

  • 5+ years of experience analyzing requirements and designing new solutions for application and database components

  • 5 + years of experience with application integration

  • A BS/BA degree or higher in science or technology

  • 5+ years of experience with Spring, Spring Batch, and Spring Boot

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience supporting an enterprise-level environment

  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization; including management

  • Strong team or technical leadership experience

  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • 5+ years of financial industry experience

  • 5 + years of experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS

Other Desired Qualifications

  • Ability to work outside of normal business hours to provide level 3 support, troubleshooting and change management tasks
