Norman Regional Health System Physician Relations Specialist - Full Time - Days - Porter Campus in Norman, Oklahoma

The Business Development team is a dynamic group of Health System ambassadors. The team develops and implements marketing strategies, conducts ongoing and extensive fieldwork with referral sources, maintains ongoing contact with community referral sources and corporate partners and monitors financial, quality and customer service outcomes for assigned Health System service lines and programs. Responsible for the community outreach and marketing efforts, promotion of strategic services and the development of a network of referring physicians and corporate clients, within defined geographic areas and assigned strategic service areas of the organization. The specialist is also responsible for identifying opportunities for referral development and taking the necessary steps to generate referrals and/or develop partnerships. The specialist acts as the liaison between the physician team and/or corporate client and the health system. The Specialist executes the business planning and Innovation Lean initiatives based on NRHS strategic goals. Responsible for developing, planning, organizing, implementing, tracking and reporting the direct sales function to the corporate-employer market.


Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or Health Care.


Minimum of one year experience directly related to healthcare analysis, planning, strategy, and research.

Prefer 3+ years of direct experience.

(Above requirements may be met by equivalent combination of education and experience).


Data analysis, research methodologies, proficiency in Microsoft Office, facilitation of groups, project management, business plan development and maintenance, communication skills, relational databases, financial analysis, critical thinking, problem solving.

Travel is required 25-50% percent of the time, but is local.
