Many of our team have been with us for a long time – years! This offers great comfort and support to our new team members. We have a wealth of experience in our team. It can be very busy in CS and we can at times feel the pressure, but we never forget to support each other and make sure everyone is OK at the end of the day!
An insight into what you’ll be doing:
No two days are ever the same. Once fully trained (don’t worry, we hold your hand all the way), you could be chatting to our customers on the phone, via live chat or email about anything from the best product to buy to suit their needs, chasing a customer delivery, helping to resolve a problem if a damaged parcel is received; to dealing with a payment query or a lost parcel. To say the day goes quickly would be an understatement!
We think we are so lucky to help many of our customers during what is one of the most special times of their lives. You could be speaking with an excited grandparent, a nervous partner or an expectant parent who needs help buying those essential maternity items.
Our ethos means you are empowered to do the right thing by our customers, and we work really hard to put things right when they go wrong. We all pull together to find better ways of helping our customers. We’re great at supporting each other when we’re under pressure and we love to celebrate and share our successes.

A day in the life
In the morning you could be talking to our UK, Irish or international customers via inbound calls.
In the afternoon you could be responding to all forms of social media contact.
Maybe you could spend your day chatting to many customers via Live Chat. How many chats you can answer is up to you.
Our lovely store teams often need help and call our CS team.
Sometimes we must process returned goods for exchange or refund.
If we have time you might find yourself assisting our CS Manager or Team Leader with specific customer service projects.
Passion, enthusiasm, energy and adaptability are some of the most important things we look for in all of our CS team. It’s so important that you have a desire to support, empathise and understand the unique circumstances many of our customers can be in when pregnant or just after having a baby. You must have a natural nurturing attitude.
Being able to’ really’ listen to our customers’ needs and have the ability to communicate in the most effective way to reach the best resolution is key to our success – so you must be a compassionate listener.
We want you to be excited, knowing that we will train and support you to feel empowered to be brilliant. You will have the satisfaction of amazing customer feedback, because the service you’ve delivered is why that customer will keep on coming back.
