SubCom Process Data Specialist Intern in Newington, New Hampshire

The Process Data Specialist with have the opportunity to learn the overall seal manufacturing assembly process. Seals allow fiber optics to pass through penetrations in the in-line amplifiers while keeping sea water under ambient hydrostatic pressure out. The next step will be to analyze/consolidate data in a format that will aid in quick detection of patterns and therefore process improvements. The position reports to Optical Products and Systems Focused Factory Manager. The goal of the position is to aid in processing/analyzing data on non-conformances as well as review of process to look for areas of risk under the guidance of process engineers.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Review current data and data recording methods. Learn overall process of seal build.
Experience with databases and data analysis is preferred
Basic understanding of statistics is required
High School Diploma and enrollment in related college degree program is required
