Our Role:
We are looking for a collaborative, inquisitive and technical professional like you to fulfill the role of Analyst within the PGIM HR Compensation and Analytics team. You will have the opportunity to work with colleagues from around the world and gain exposure to HR technology, data, and practices across different geographies. You will develop innovative solutions in support of PGIMs dynamic business strategy and manage established HR data analysis processes. Responsibilities include working with internal partners and clients to execute initiatives and creatively solve PGIM people-related data and compensation challenges. You will interact directly with HR business partners on a regular basis to ensure they are getting the data they need and collecting requirements for future enhancements.
Are you analytical, curious, and detail-oriented? The role requires exceptional problem-solving abilities, a customer service attitude, and strong technical skills, with a willingness to learn PowerBI, SQL, and VBA.
Initially the role may be fully remote due to the current Covid-19 restrictions. Longer term this role is primarily based at our offices in Newark, NJ.
Your specific responsibilities would include:
Support and maintain proprietary tools for annual employee life cycle including compensation expense, year-end compensation, promotions, and performance management
Design, build, and implement tools for HR users to streamline processes
Support internal projects to implement and test reports in MS Power BI, compensation tools/analytics, excel, and Workday
Implement strategic goals for HR data reporting
Responsible for data availability and governance in reporting environment
Identify HR and business data needs within the data lake and lead team on implementation
Support testing of data flowing into the PGIM HR ecosystem
Contribute to team projects and assist teammates with various ad-hoc reporting/analytics requests as workloads dictate
Ensure timely delivery and production of work that meets or exceeds expectations
Provide an excellent customer experience on every contact with HR partners, key stakeholders and employees
Is this you?:
Strong MS Excel and Access skills required; working knowledge of Office Suite preferred
Strong analytical and technical background, coding experience a plus
Experience with Prudential Human Resources systems: Workday, Power BI, or other data analytics tools a plus
Strong attention to detail, interpersonal skills, and ability to see the big picture
Able to manage work in a high-volume and fast-paced environment, juggle multiple priorities and flexible to work extended hours as needed
Highly motivated and action-oriented with strong creative problem-solving, analytical and communication skills
2-4 years of experience in Human Resources. Financial services industry and/or global experience preferred
Bachelors degree required
