The Marketing Operations Coordinator will be primarily responsible for managing the creation of marketing landing pages, building multi-touch email and sales outreach journeys, managing the flow and processing of leads into and through our CRM system, and sending individual emails.
In this role, you will support our demand generation activities across all SANS business units including B2B and B2C (student) specific campaigns. As our subject matter expert, the Marketing Operations Coordinator will identify opportunities to improve our existing processes and move those forward through completion.
Key responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
Scheduling, testing, and sending emails for our global marketing managers to support sales initiatives
Loading lead lists from third party data sources while ensuring proper lead source attribution
Project managing the development of landing pages to ensure the necessary technical requirements are met including tagging, form posting, and SEO requirements.
Managing our CRM platform to support demand generation. This includes queue management, lead routing, and other workflow rules necessary to properly assign and track lead attribution.
Building multi-step communication journeys that include integrated email and sales outreach
Identifying and implementing process improvements including documentation updates
Key qualifications for this position include but are not limited to:
Expertise in email operations & journey building, in particular with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
Very strong Salesforce Sales Cloud (CRM) hands-on experience including lead uploads, routing, workflow rules, lead reporting, campaign set-up, and queue management.
Experience using web content management platforms to build landing pages
Keen understanding of the power of good data for marketing attribution, customer segmentation, ROI analysis, and list cleanliness
Team player – A collaborative and cross-functional team member, able to multi-task and get input from multiple other, busy professionals
Enthusiasm for operational efficiency and processes – Identifying new methods and tools to improve our processes through our marketing technology
Extremely well organized and meticulously detailed to ensure accuracy and timeliness of work.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Additional Position Information
You will work from home, and SANS will provide you with essential office supplies, including a laptop computer, monitor (if applicable), office supplies, and reimbursements for work-related expenses, including internet access. This position requires the Marketing Operations Coordinator to be available and working during standard business hours, Monday through Friday from 8AM – 5PM ET. Because most employees of SANS work from home, we are frequent and comfortable users of Skype (or other video-conferencing technologies), though we also hold in-person meetings at or around training events. Therefore, it is likely that you would need to be able to travel for a few days each quarter.
