The Wealth Products and Experiences team within US Wealth Management, develops industry-leading solutions that enable wealth management clients to live their lives with financial confidence through connected experiences. The team is charged with leading the development of best-in-class products and experiences for Aspiring Affluent, Established, and High Net Worth client segments, including Lending, Donor Advised Funds, and College savings. Our strategy is to create solutions that deepen client engagement, increase scale and profitability, attract new clients and drive productivity.

Position Overview :

The Wealth Products and Experiences team is seeking a Head of Margin Lending. We are looking for a transformational leader with deep industry experience, who understands customer needs and behavior, the competitive landscape, the regulatory landscape, and effective risk management related to margin lending. The Head of Margin Lending will be responsible for driving the firm’s strategy to grow the margin lending business to meet client needs, deliver a superior client and advisor experience, and effectively manage the firm’s liquidity.

The ideal candidate has experience leading and influencing teams to deliver industry-leading margin products and experiences, and will report to the Head of Wealth Products and Experiences. Through partnership across the business, the candidate will develop and execute a roadmap to drive business objectives forward while positioning J.P. Morgan to be a leader in this rapidly changing competitive landscape. They will lead cross-functional teams of core engineering, design and business partners from across the firm to deliver robust feature sets to market.

The desired candidate thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment with a practical orientation to developing and maintaining an innovation life cycle product road map. Candidates should have a management style that fosters teamwork and collaboration and a demonstrated passion for margin solutions and digital channels. In addition to being a seasoned and well trained professional, the successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with the ability to inspire confidence and to collaborate closely with technology leaders and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Leadthe development of margin lending solutions and client/advisor journey,partnering with leaders across the firm to bring together our full capabilitiesto deliver the best-in-market consumer experience

  • Continuouslyfocus on core client needs, and the end-to-end client experience. Work closelywith partners to integrate margin solutions into relevant wealth managementofferings (e.g. goals-based planning solutions).

  • Embodytrue “customer-obsession” in identifying and leveraging user data, industrytrends and varying forms of customer feedback to inform product design androadmap.

  • Workin partnership with the advisor workforce and field leadership to createwinning strategies and solutions that will empower them to help clients achievetheir goals.

  • Integrate robust risk managementthroughout the process via consistent product reviews , reporting, and platformenhancements that allow JPMS to remain current in a constantly evolvingregulatory environment

  • Prioritize, champion, and deliverinitiatives related to new features, efficiency improvements, experienceenhancements, risk management and compliance, etc.

  • Partner across J.P. MorganSecurities LLC and J.P. Morgan Chase Bank, N.A., including digital teams, technology,marketing, middle office, legal, finance, credit risk, and operations

  • Educate Financial Advisors, Bankers,Investors, and Lending Advisors

  • Demonstrate ability to manage,influence, and motivate upward and downward across function

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree and MBA

  • 10+ years of experience in the Financial Servicesindustry; history of margin lending and/or product management

  • Demonstrated experience indeveloping and launching best-in-class margin products and services in a largefinancial services firm

  • Deep familiarity with regulatoryrequirement and fiduciary responsibilities

  • Proven ability to execute viasuccessful internal partnerships with other groups including Design andTechnology

  • Excellent leadership skills – ofprograms, projects, teams and employees – with demonstrated track record forattracting and retaining top talent

  • Exceptionalcommunication and presentation skills and ability to crisply articulate complextechnical concepts to senior audiences with poise and confidence

  • Mustbe a team player who is effectively collaborative internally while fiercelycompetitive externally

  • Genuinelyenergized by new, innovative digital technology and its impact on customers

  • Licensing may be required (eg. Series7, 66) – current licenses are preferred but this requirement can be fulfilledpost-onboarding
