The Digital Experience & Platforms team (DEP), within Global Commercial Services, is focused on designing and delivering a seamless digital experience that drives customer engagement as well as business growth. The Digital Experience Large Business team within the DEP team designs and delivers digital tools for middle market, large and global scale companies to effectively manage their Corporate Card programs.

The Director of Product Development – Platform Modernization will be responsible for defining and delivering a next generation, unified & innovative digital experience for our Corporate Card clients within @ Work. This includes leading a transformational agenda to build a seamless and globally consistent homepage, intuitive navigation, search and sign-on as well as re-imagining our banner, messaging and API experience. The ideal candidate will be a strong driver with experience launching digital features in an agile environment. He/she will be an independent thought leader, with a strategic mindset, excellent communication and organizational skills, and will have a proven record of operating within a matrixed corporate environment and leading a high performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively lead, inspire, and develop a high performing team of product managers

  • Deliver on our highly visible three-year transformation roadmap of the global @ Work experience for our Corporate Card clients

  • Drive the onboarding of our global clients onto our external servicing APIs while transforming the channel to full self-service to deliver future scale

  • End-to-end ownership of product development from strategy to roadmap implementation

  • Communicate with senior leadership to receive strategic buy-in

  • Partner with teams across the Enterprise to leverage Blue Box capabilities and accelerate delivery

Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

  • Proven dynamic people leader with a passion for team development

  • Results-driven mindset with the ability to work under pressure, navigate through ambiguity, and balance multiple priorities in a matrixed Corporate environment

  • Demonstrated experience in delivering global, cross functional digital transformations

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence senior leaders, knowledge of internal processes and software platforms a plus.

  • Demonstrated ability to conceptualize and deliver new platform capabilities, participate in defining specifications, lead conceptual business architecture, collaborate within and across teams on design and delivery, manage project and be able to interpret results.

  • Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred

  • 7-10 years of professional experience in product management or strategy in Financial Services preferred
