Determines priority for show launch dates and delivery schedules. Makes high level decisions regarding a vertical’s team member’s responsibilities. Shapes content and works with partner creators.
The Supervising Producer for Custom Podcasts will be responsible for overseeing all post-sale aspects of assigned custom original custom podcasts including the slate of shows for Seneca Women. Working closely with the Executive Producer of Custom Podcasts, as well as our sales and marketing teams, this person will assist in execution of all production through delivery and distribution of our slate of custom shows. This person will be the primary point of contact for our key clients.. This person will own all communications between the production team and the PR, Reporting and Analytics, Research, Design, Digital Account Management, and Legal teams. Success in this position will rely heavily on the ability to understand brand challenges and solve those challenges through the podcast medium. Strong communication skills and a proven track record in audio production and/or brand storytelling through various mediums is a must. This person will also be responsible for managing key stakeholder relationships, communicating effectively with brand teams and executives, clients, and talent.
5-7 years of project management experience, with proven ability to deliver multi-faceted projects on time and on budget
Strong client-facing background – solid presentation skills and excellent written and verbal skills
Self-starter, ability to work across multiple teams simultaneously
Interest in podcasts and a desire to make a mark and innovate for marketers in the space
Must be able to conceive of, and clearly communicate, original ideas – particularly in powerpoint
Upbeat, entrepreneurial attitude
Help generate renewals on sold business and identify new opportunities for upsells
Identify ahead of time potential issues, flag and address with key stakeholders
Prospect new business opportunities with existing partners
Closely monitor and surface client strategies to internal teams
Broaden internal relationships across multiple internal divisions including Marketing, Activation, Events, and Pricing
Detailed account management via SalesForce, Marketing Requests, and Outlook
Able to manage multiple deadline-driven projects and wear many hats when necessary
Strategically-minded. Must be able to spot opportunities to add value at every stage
Experience managing teams and 3rd party vendors
Understanding of the podcast ad operations a bonus
