Enterprise Risk Reporting and Intelligence

Enterprise Risk Reporting and Intelligence (ERRI) is a group within SERM that is responsible for developing and managing board and executive management reporting on risks across the organization, and for developing strong risk analytics and intelligence capabilities to pro-actively identify and report on risk trends. The group also coordinates cross-functional efforts across front line and independent risk management organizations to continuously enhance risk reporting and analytics.

The Strategy Consultant position is on the ERRI Reporting Design and Execution team that is responsible for monthly and quarterly Board Risk Committee reporting across financial and non-financial risk areas, business groups, and enterprise functions. We seek a Strategy Consultant 4 who can leverage board and management reporting experience to support ongoing enhancements to enterprise risk reporting content, messaging, format, graphics, production processes, and quality control. The position requires a strong writer and editor who will synthesize insights and conclusions from submissions and data originating from multiple sources into cohesive board and senior executive presentations. S/he will develop, update, and deliver ongoing communications, report preparation guidance, and presentations, and participate in meetings with report contributor and enterprise risk program teams throughout the report production life cycle. This is an excellent opportunity to interface with risk, business, and enterprise function partners across all risk disciplines and businesses at Wells Fargo.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of strategic planning experience

  • 3+ years of reporting experience, analytics experience or a combination of both

Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and understanding of financial services risk management

  • Ability to prepare presentations, management reporting, and statistical analysis

  • Experience creating dashboards and reporting formats

  • Strong, clear and concise written and oral communication skills

  • Experience writing, editing, coordinating, and publishing documentation

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Experience writing and editing internal communications, including corporate and executive level communications

  • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities

  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
