Our mission in Oculus for Business is to revolutionize the way organizations communicate and collaborate at work. We are creating The Future of Work and we need a Solutions Sales Architect to help bring these solutions to life with customers around the world.

The Go-to-Market AR/VR team is seeking a talented Solutions Sales Architect, as part of the global client facing Sales & Channel Development organization. As a Sales Architect, you will be responsible for leading, deploying and integrating AR/VR solutions with the world’s most forward-thinking enterprise partners. This role is 60% technical and 40% selling and you will be very hands-on.

Working closely with the enterprise partner, our developer partners and our internal account management, product management and engineering teams, you will be responsible for ensuring that the AR/VR enterprise solution that the enterprise customer is looking for is achievable and you will ensure that our developer partners are meeting the needs of enterprise clientele.

You will be developing trusted and highly credible cross-functional relationships and in this dynamic role, you will lead the team in the development and implementation of enduring and scalable processes & solutions to enable the long-term growth and success of our AR & VR vision.

You will always be on the lookout for talented teammates and help with recruiting and develop our organizational infrastructure. Where applicable, you seek to institute new processes to operationalize best practices. As a leader in the organization, see the big picture and work well with cross-functional stakeholders to enable AR/VR overall sales goals.

Required Skills:

  1. Engage with clients presale, to understand their business objectives and challenges. Working with the end customer and our developer partners, you will be responsible for insuring that our AR/VR applications are integrated with our Hardware and platform software, ultimately, being deployed, at scale into the enterprise

  2. Work closely with our developer partners to integrate Oculus hardware & software into custom VR and AR enterprise experiences

  3. Develop tools, documentation, sample code, and other materials to help scale Oculus’ business platform products

  4. Enable and lead initiatives that support the development of efficiency and scale in day-to-day operations

  5. Provide clear and actionable feedback to the product and engineering teams highlighting the areas of greatest opportunity

  6. Develop and maintain a depth of industry, client and product knowledge that enables you to be effective as a leader and credible as a thought partner while fostering knowledge sharing across teams

  7. Engage with peers to plan and execute a common set of objectives

  8. Develop understanding of the AR/VR system architecture, integration components and APIs

  9. Build knowledge on security, compliance and regulatory requirements

  10. Understand the Oculus runtime and software stack for both PC and Mobile platforms

  11. Willingness and ability to travel up to 40% of time

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 10+ years experience as a Sales Engineer or Technical Sales Consultant

  2. Experience communicating to both technical and business audiences

  3. Experience translating engineering needs into strategic plans and vice versa

  4. Knowledge of cloud and on-premise enterprise architecture

  5. Expertise in Mobile Device Management

  6. Enterprise systems architecture experience

  7. Fluency in English

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Knowledge of VR platforms and APIs

  2. Experience in Unity/Unreal, and Android native development

  3. Software development experience with C++ or C#
