Server Engineer with at least 5 years? experience in the design, implementation, and support of Red Hat and CentOS Linux operating systems with a focus on automation with Ansible and scripting with Python/Bash
Automation and configuration management using Ansible
Excellent knowledge of the Linux command line
Strong knowledge of AWS or GCP public cloud services and provisioning tools.
Experience with translating requirements into automation workflows using industry standard frameworks and scripting languages.
Proficiency using REST services to automate tasks
Experience with OLTP databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL
Understanding of Active Directory and Kerberos
Experience with NFS and Samba for security and performance
Understanding of Git version control and GitFlow
Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation
Engineer working as part of a team responsible for the design and implementation of new initiatives
Follow Agile practices to work independently, multitask, be highly motivated, and understand deadline requirements
Automation of processes to reduce the manual work required by support teams using Enterprise and Open Source tools
Provide assistance to DEV and QA groups to include participation in meetings, building out environments, and troubleshoot deployment/configuration related problems
Ability to resolve problems in a timely, effective, and professional manner
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the way of formal documentation and status reporting
Escalation point for support teams on priority issues
