JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Security Operations Engineer who has a strong security background with a good understanding of networking and operations. You are self-motivated with keen attention to detail, and you will be joining an innovative team responsible for securely delivering corporate services for the data centers and branch offices of a 24x7x365 environment. As such, you may be asked to provide off-hour support as required.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide security operations support of servers, PCs, hardware, and network of a 24 x 7 corporate and broadcasting environment across multiple locations
Responsible for securing environment with endpoint security tools and maintaining deployments
Serve as a technical expert in the area of security operations and implementation for both on-premise server platforms and SaaS cloud technologies
Work with Tier 1 and 2 to gather, analyze, and review system logs to identify and resolve security incidents
Perform system upgrades and modify processes as required for enhanced functionality and security issue resolution
Assist with the technical design and planning of mission-critical enterprise systems
Gather requirements, plan, and assess the current configuration
Work with outside vendors to successfully test and integrate new technology
Responsible for all information security incident response with prompt isolation and resolution of network security issues
Ensure compliance with company policies and standards
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
3+ years of experience in cloud-based security policies
3+ years of experience managing vulnerability and risk
3+ years of relevant IT security experience
Advanced hands-on experience with Next Gen firewalls and wireless technologies
Hands-on experience with Cloud applications such as Slack, BOX.com, Quip, Workday, Salesforce, Service-Now, etc.
Experience with SMTP/TLS and E-mail filtering cloud-based systems
Experience with securing Cloud-Based technologies, AWS, Azure, Rackspace, OKTA, SAML 2.0, OpenConnect, etc.
Working knowledge of Network and/or Security Technologies ( NAC, Honeypots, Routers, VPN, Switches, Proxies, Tanium, Crowdstrike, etc.)
Familiarity with security industry standards (ISO 17799, NIST 800 series, etc.), best practices and knowledge of security auditing
Ability to work on multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
Ability to manage specific tasks as projects both independently and as directed by management
