Healthfirst Provider Marketing Strategy Specialist in New York, New York
The Provider Communications Specialist is responsible for supporting the development and execution of strategic communications efforts that will enhance the experience of Providers within the Healthfirst network. The Specialist will work with various stakeholders across the enterprise such as Population Health, Clinical Quality, Delivery System Innovation, and others. Reporting into the Senior Manager of Provider Communications, the Specialist will support the growth of this recently established team. S/he will work closely within the internal marketing process to translate stakeholders’ needs into practical and strategic communications tactics.
Draft and assist in the creation of collateral and Provider engagement materials, such as Provider alerts, program guides, mass email communications, Provider mailings, and content for our public-facing Provider website and Provider portal, etc.
Work closely with project managers, Legal, Regulatory, and business stakeholders to move projects forward within the project timeline while ensuring high quality and timely completion of deliverables.
Collaborate with Provider-facing teams across the enterprise to understand business needs and support the development of innovative communications solutions that align with other initiatives across the enterprise.
Assist in the tracking and coordination of Provider communications requests and efforts.
Support the enhancement of various digital solutions, including email communication efforts and Healthfirst Provider website, to drive Provider engagement.
Participate in and assist with ad hoc projects as necessary.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
2-3 years of experience in the healthcare industry: insurance, pharmaceutical, hospital, managed long-term care, nursing home, government, or other healthcare agency.
2-3 years of experience writing and communicating in the Provider space
2-3 years of experience coordinating and managing projects with multiple stakeholders and needs
Ability to prioritize and work efficiently and accurately while working with multiple deadlines.
Ability to work in teams and build good working relationships.
Highly motivated self-starter, who is results oriented and with an entrepreneurial spirit.
Strong attention to detail, planning and organizational skills.
Ability to translate highly complex health care policies and content into actionable Provider communications tactics.
Experience with digital analytics (such as Google Analytics).
Basic understanding of email marketing tools such as Constant Contact, Exact Target, etc.
Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve with minimal management oversight.
