Southern Graphic Systems Project Manager 2 (On-Site) in New York, New York


As On-Site Project Manager, you will be in charge of:


Oversee end-to-end workflow of mechanicals in multiple categories

Manage trafficking of mechanicals and internal approval routing

Report project status in weekly operational planning meetings

Track and manage artwork, copy and dieline deadlines

Facilitate communication between internal teams and upload and archive approved assets

Oversee launches from project briefing through artwork release focused on urgent deliverables to meet deadlines

Manage high-volume project timelines/facilitate creative planning and management

Liaison between creative, marketing and purchasing departments

Maintain/update master project tracking document containing all launch elements

Oversee and communicate key timelines and priorities

Lead bi-weekly creative team meetings to review active projects and action items

Workflow Management

Set up projects and approvers in workflow tool

Upload copy deck, dielines and design references


Efficiently monitor quality of production, timelines and implement corrective actions

Optimize project organization to improve quality and/or profitability

Monitor delivery timelines and optimize processes

Inform client on project progress

Follow and keep current SOP’s with latest rules and workflow processes


Provide reports (bi-weekly volume projections)

Business Continuity

Nurture good relationship with client, develop trust and stay alert to potential business opportunities

Provide quality service by anticipating client’s needs and regularly measuring satisfaction

Provide project summary and identify new needs


3-5 years’ experience in Artwork and Project Management

Education degree or equivalent in print, commercial/graphic design

Microsoft Office experience

Fully conversant with Adobe CS - Adobe certification is a plus

Knowledge of ESKO suite is a plus

Able to work effectively and efficiently towards goals in a complex, diverse environment with multiple and changing demands. Known for effective leadership of staff. Comfortable with interacting with clients and/or print suppliers
