This position is for a Mergers and Acquisitions Specialist based out New York City office. The M&A Specialist will play a key role in all aspects of WWTS mergers and acquisitions and strategic investments / initiatives processes

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain financial models for evaluating acquisition and divestiture opportunities including detailed P&L, cash flow and balance sheet forecast, synergies analysis, valuation analysis and additional ad-hoc analysis associated with M&A and divestiture activities

  • Create detailed presentations and reports that can be utilized by C-level management including M&A pipeline, due diligence results, deal theses and information memorandums

  • Develop a deep understanding of WWTS financial and operational profile and help identify opportunities for strategic development across all aspects of the company

  • Maximize collaboration and efficiency of the M&A process by building relationships and processes with key operating departments globally including finance, information technology, claims, human resources, and legal among others

  • Assist in planning and coordination of integration of acquisitions and carve-outs of divestitures

  • Assist in driving transaction process by managing due diligence requests, maintaining data rooms, and coordinating with external advisors

  • Additional requirements may exist if offer of employment is extended

Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent amount of experience; or additional education with less experience

  • Knowledge and experience in the financial and process-oriented aspects of M&A transactions

  • 2-5 years of quality experience in a M&A / due diligence or consulting roles

Skills:

  • Excellent troubleshooting skills

  • Proficient in drafting management presentations, information memorandums and board materials

  • High level financial modeling capabilities

  • Ability to effectively communicate complex issues efficiently and accurately to senior executives both verbally and in writing

  • Willingness to work with a high-energy, hard-working, and high-performing team

  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

  • Ability to plan and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment
