Manager, Local & Cultural Innovation Skincare

Closely partner and collaborate with the ED/Director in product and commercial innovation projects that provide expertise to the brands and R&D to growth $, share and relevancy with skin of color consumers.

Pivotal member of the team to enable R&D and the Brands to deliver value based upon local/cultural intelligence and identified technology, subcategory, product and execution opportunities.

Partner and/or lead various projects to:

 Be a source of expertise on benefits, unmet and unarticulated needs to support Global/Regional Affiliate brands, R&D, to accelerate growth

 Be a source of expertise of North American/UK Multi-ethnic Consumer to insure considerations are designed into R&D briefings and subcategory strategy

 Collaborate in consumer, expert and influencer discovery to surface relevancy opportunities, trends for action in development and commercial execution

 Be an expert on where there are both synergies and differences across various skin of color populations within and across markets.

 Monitor competitive lines/products and draw conclusions re their success/failure in meeting the needs of skin of color consumers. Highlight learnings, unique or niche opportunities where seen.

 Surface players and hero products that may not be on the radar for evaluation/analysis

 Develop toolkits and other materials that can action and accelerate big idea programs and existing hero products/franchises with SOC consumers


• Existing expertise regarding multi-ethnic/skin of color consumers is not necessary, but passion and ability to learn is a requirement

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Detail oriented

• Excellent ability to collaborate across functions and levels

• Ability to synthesize and curate large volume of information

• Creative thinker with ability to ideate and filter new ideas with potential for brand implementation

-5 years beauty experience in any of marketing, product development, Insights, Education or related disciplines

-College degree required
