Associate – Loan Structuring & Syndications (“LSS”)
On a daily basis, the Associate will be responsible for providing analytical and execution support for syndicated loans (both cash flow and asset based) and asset based finance originations .
Supporting deal origination by drafting pitch materials incorporating an analysis of capital structure, credit profile, publicly available data on companies and transactions, and industry research.
Preparing market comparables, initial due diligence lists, deal pre-screen presentations, and drafting indicative term sheets.
Execute lead-arranged transactions by preparing organization books, drafting marketing materials
(Confidential Information Memorandums, Lender presentations), organizing bank meetings, assisting in the negotiation of legal documentation and managing the closing process
Interface with banker coverage and other partners to assist in the coordination and execution of transactions and to effectively meet deal timelines.
Exhibit business and credit judgment as well as to provide balanced assessments in working with internal team members and partners.
Prepare a review of participations and the preparation of no-objection memos.
Maintain a strong attention to detail and complete work in assigned timeframes.
Strong financial and analytic skills and ability to rapidly assimilate complex information
Formal credit training
Highly focused, able to clearly communicate issues
High level of energy, enthusiasm and motivation
Team player, able to facilitate strong partnerships
Positive/can-do approach, embraces changes and communicates as own
Excellent written and presentation skills
- Bachelor's degree/University degree with minimum of 2-3 years of banking experience
