Google Head of Industry Marketing, Media, Entertainment and Gaming in New York, New York

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 10 years of experience in product marketing/management in enterprise technology/cloud.

  • 5 years of Media, Entertainment, and Gaming related experience.

  • Experience designing and executing marketing programs, and working with Cloud for a Media, Entertainment, and Gaming company.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or other advanced degree with 8 years of B2B enterprise experience leading cloud marketing to Media, Entertainment and Gaming companies.

  • Experience planning and executing multiple, complex marketing programs including managing large projects, vendors, and agencies.

  • Track record of setting and delivering against measurable marketing metrics.

  • Successful track record of working collaboratively across solutions, product, engineering, sales, field sales, and partner teams to deliver high quality content in a fast-paced environment.

  • Distinctive problem-solving, strategic and analytical capabilities.

  • Budget management and project management skills.

The Google Cloud Platform team helps customers transform and evolve their business through the use of Google’s global network, web-scale data centers and software infrastructure. The Cloud Marketing team is looking for people who can help us write and tell the story of our customer's journey. Understanding the power of our products and how they impact businesses, you will help share how we provide our customers with the best solutions for innovation. As the Head of Industry Marketing, you will be a storyteller, crafting compelling narratives and messages to help our customers understand how our solutions, products, and services meet the needs of Media, Entertainment, and Gaming companies. You will work with many partners to build, internally enable, and externally share our solutions. You'll create compelling scalable narratives that help enable marketing collateral, thought leadership and business content.

You will understand how the industry is changing and how Google Cloud can help companies succeed, by going deep enough on a technical level to impress C-level while making a case to a line of business decision makers.

  • Manage the marketing strategy to build mindshare, generate leads and build advocacy within the Media, Entertainment and Gaming verticals.

  • Develop and execute content and influence strategy so it is echoed back to us from press, analysts, customers and influencers.

  • Partner with Product Management, Developer Relations, Sales, Growth Marketing, Field Marketing, and Campaigns to execute the marketing plan with excellence.

  • Measure and report on the impact of the industry marketing investments across all marketing engines, un-arching lessons, best practices and demonstrating agility in optimizing the investment plan to maximize business and customer outcomes.

  • Serve as an advocate for Media, Entertainment and Games solutions on Google Cloud, contributing ideas to the solutions and product roadmap, and helping our sellers and customers understand the differentiated value of our Media, Entertainment and Games solutions.
