We’re looking for a Global Marketing Lead to lead our small business stories program. Among the over 140 million businesses on Facebook are a subset who are our most passionate supporters. They’ve grown their businesses on our platforms and routinely share their insights and success in their communities & with each other. This program will operationalize our efforts to tell the stories of our small businesses advocates around the world through the creation of collateral to support campaigns and other comms, influencer and marketing initiatives. The Global Marketing Lead will be responsible for all aspects of the program, including defining the global roadmap, aligning with internal teams who will support it & partnering with our regional teams to execute.
The successful candidate will be a collaborative, creative, and operationally-savvy leader motivated by building large integrated marketing programs which drive measurable impact. They will work closely with our Small Business, Policy, Communications, & Regional Business Marketing teams to deliver a program which provides value to our advocates, strengthens perceptions of the Facebook brand in local communities, & aligns with our overarching small business & economic growth narratives.
This is a full-time position based out of our San Francisco, Menlo Park, New York or Washington DC offices.
Define a long-term vision for the global program, including needs for budget and resourcing
Develop the program roadmap with key cross-functional teams
Define scalable ideas for operationalizing content transcreation in 35+ languages
Develop and own the templates and play book for all SMB story content, per audience
Formulate best practices & build tool kits to support regional teams
Partner with measurement & analytics teams to measure program impact
Manage the program budget
Lead the internal team responsible for execution
Manage external marketing agencies and vendors as needed
10+ years of integrated marketing experience
Experience leading cross-functional marketing programs
Experience working with advertising & content marketing agencies
Experience as a cross-functional influencer and partner
Experience leading programs on a global scale
