What we do:
The Data and Analytics Office (DAO) as part of Technology group (TG) leads the effort to establish an enterprise-wide data and analytics culture and mindset across the Bank.
Establishes governance, policies and standards; operationalized through a central data management function.
Delivers advanced analytics techniques and solutions that are fit-for-purpose and can scale across the Bank.
Embeds analytics excellence across the organization though a federated “hub and spoke” operating model.
The Data Program Manager role reports to the DAO Data Strategy, Director and works with associates across practices, technology designers, business area users and data managers, product managers, information architects in support of these objectives. This role supports managing data and analytics roadmap, buildout of data strategy, creating data culture, and ensure data & analytics adoption across organization. The role will drive organization enablement and change management to ensure the Data and Analytics Office and overall federated operating model are aligned with the DAO strategy.
Your role as Data Program Manager:
Outlines the core organizational beliefs that shapes the long-term vision to enable data driven organization.
Create a bridge between Business Units, DAO and other technology groups to create shared understanding data and analytics needs and opportunities, enable wide-spread adoption of strategic investments.
Analyze and Translate business needs related to data and analytics. To enable this, develop strong collaborative partnerships with business area users, data managers, business process engineers, information technology, and outside data specialist consultancies.
Play a pivotal role in prioritizing different data and analytical needs across organization to create multi-year roadmap for the DAO organization.
Work with business units (BUs) and DAO product owners to define performance characteristics and maintain backlog of features and requirements.
Develop and maintain integrated program monitoring and control to gain additional transparency, accountability, and actions to ensure performance against cost, schedule, scope, risk, and resource management.
Responsible for developing and managing a framework to support the execution of a portfolio of projects across the DAO and tie them to the DAO goals and vision.
Influence development of DAO operating model and manage socialization across organization.
Plan and publish Data Lifecycle Management process that supports operating model of the DAO organization.
Facilitate cross-functional problem solving on data challenges; enable the spread of ideas and innovative practices throughout the entire organization.
Managing appropriate change and communications activities for specific change initiatives;
Work with Data Management lead and Data product strategist to oversee implementation and adoption of metadata management tool.
Work with data science team to develop taxonomies and ontologies that will support the Bank’s growing high performing advanced analytics needs.
Partner with Data governance team to publish Data Analytics & Governance Policies and Standards.
Develop the change management model and rollout activities that promote customer awareness, ongoing support and maximum usage of analytical solutions.
Build a solution to identify and track performance metrics, develop standard reports, and share progress with management.
Oversee design of target state analytics architecture (conceptual) with TG and BUs and ensure adherence to target state data architecture
What we are looking for:
BS or BA degree required; advanced degree or equivalent experience is strongly preferred.
Strong background in data and analytics, planning and delivering business centric solutions.
Minimum of five to seven years of experience in data, architecture, strategy.
Expert in data management and analytics best practices, and experience with applying data and analytics standards across an organization with varying business needs.
Well versed in designing, executing, and delivering strategic planning, transformation and change management projects.
Knowledge of existing and emerging data management, metadata, taxonomy, standards, tools, and best practices.
Experience with TOGAF, Six sigma to build business capability map, model, journey map, persona.
Strong communication, coordination, project planning, implementation, and prioritization skills.
Experience managing expectations and balancing demands while maintaining team priorities.
Ability to work in ambiguous environment and ability to covert ambiguity into action plan.
Agile working knowledge is a strong plus.
