Falconwood, Inc. Headquarters Program Analyst (Scheduler) in New Orleans, Louisiana

We are looking for a highly skilled individual to serve as Program Analyst. This position is in support of the MyNavy HR IT Solutions program office. MyNavy HR IT Solutions provides information technology (IT) business systems to recruit, train, pay, promote, move, retire, and support Navy personnel.

  • Schedule, plan, and track tasks.

  • Maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) up to date, provide weekly reports to customer.

  • Work with teams to develop and refine project and task schedules.

  • Maintain open communications and working relationships with all OMS stakeholders.

  • Maintain the IMS and provide and weekly / monthly / quarterly / annual reports/updates including operations, maintenance and sustainment activities and all deliverables and milestones.

  • Works with managers and task leads to maintain labor loaded schedules in Jira and Microsoft Project

  • Work with management and teammates to identify, report, and resolve schedule and resource conflicts and find innovative ways to accomplish overall project objectives on schedule.

  • Provide and contribute to weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual schedules and reports including schedule variance.

  • Provide project schedules, ad hoc reports, trend analysis and other reports and requests from management.

  • Attend weekly and monthly meetings and provide meeting action items, presentations, reports, and meeting notes as required.

  • Attain and maintain expert level skills in the scheduling tools and general office automation tools.

  • Provide briefings / training on IMS use, features, capabilities to managers and staff members.

  • Seek to improve overall contract performance by using the IMS and scheduling tools to inform teammates and facilitate / expedite work in new and innovative ways.

  • SECRET clearance.

  • 8+ years' relevant experience in project management and/or applied industry best practices, (e.g., Agile, Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Program Management Institute (PMI), and Capability Model Maturity Integration (CMMI)) with bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics, or related field; OR 13 years’ relevant experience in project management and/or applied industry best practices.

  • Ability to operate within a rapid-pace, dynamic environment, often-times managing multiple programs concurrently.

  • Detailed-oriented, self-driven, able to work well within a team that supports a fluid, dynamic environment. 

  • Ability to think independently with minimal oversight, as well as demonstrate exceptional written and oral communications skills. 

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, across all organizational functions and levels.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Excel.

  • Excellent customer/client management skills and techniques – internal and external.

  • Experience on an Acquisition Program.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in a program office on Agile transformation projects.

  • Experience with acquisition related processes and deliverables (e.g., Statement of Work (SOW), Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL), and Data Item Descriptions (DIDs).

  • PMI certification such as PMP

  • Project Scheduling Professional Certification SP-PMI

  • Earned Value Management experience

  • Experience Jira

  • Experience with Agile scheduling, project management, development processes
