Tyson Foods Part Time Nurse RN - New London in New London, Wisconsin
Tuesday through Saturday schedule, with 2-4 hours scheduledTuesday through Friday, and an 8 hour shift on Saturdays. (approximately16-24 hours a week)
This role may also be asked to fill in at other times for absences and vacationcoverage during the week. Occupational health nursing is the specialty practice that delivers health and safety programs and services to workers and worker populations. The practice focuses on promotion and restoration of health prevention of illness and injury and protection from work-related and environmental hazards. This position is responsible for providing primary and emergency care foroccupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses; performing requiredhealth assessments for specified programs; conducting required screening tests such as drug and alcohol testing spirometry testing or audiometric testing; maintaining OSHA state and employee health records; adhering to the highest standard of confidentiality; participating in plant safety and ergonomicprograms; assisting with health promotion education and training programs;identifying and assisting with workers compensation cases; assisting withmaintenance and documentation of workers compensation files and performing other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:Education: Completion of a registered nursing program required. Currentunrestricted state license as a Registered Nurse required.
Experience: 1 plus years experience in the performance of nursing skills relative to occupational health nursing or relevant nursing field preferred.
Computer Skills: Basiccomputer skills. Ability to work with an electronic medical documentationsystem.
Other Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills and strongproblem solving and organizational skills.
Travel: Occasional travel to local clinic hospital
