Concord’s growing Enterprise IT department is seeking a VP, Information Technology, who is primarily responsible for leading the I&O (infrastructure and operations) team that supports our 550+ employees and 6 offices worldwide, along with the systems and services utilized by the organization.
What you'll do:
Assess/measure/improve the stability and manageability of Concord’s IT landscape, with particular focus on I&O
Develop strategic and tactical plans to fill gaps and otherwise improve and mature I&O platforms, applications, and processes
Lead network design and implementation initiatives for both LAN and WAN
Lead DR/BC planning, runbook creation, and testing initiatives
Set standards for system/platform monitoring and reporting
Assist in developing and administering the corporate IT budget
Manage key IT projects, assisting with decision-making, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence
Manage specific IT vendor relationships
Manage and motivate IT staff, including mentoring and career development
What you'll need to succeed:
4-year degree in CS/IT/IS/MIS or similar, advanced degree preferred
5+ years of progressive IT/IS management experience
Experience in creating/managing technology budgets
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, along with a demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical colleagues
Extensive experience in IP networking, routing, WAN architecture, and associated hardware and software systems
Experience in managing traditional on-prem hosting environments, as well as cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.)
Experience in developing/managing a DevOps team will be helpful
