Join a team of experienced Lean practitioners and sharpen your talents with new challenges in our dynamic organization. The Operational Excellence project manager role for SCM will partner with Global Business Services organization to drive process improvement and overall operational excellence within Philips through standardizing work, organizing Kaizen events, and conducting productivity coaching sessions. In addition, this individual will focus on continuous improvements in the GBS Supply Chain Management organization.

You are responsible for (but not limited to)

  • Implementation and support f performance metrics to provide the Global Business Services (GBS) leadership team the necessary insights to drive performance to meet customer needs and expectations in a shared services environment.

  • Drive Continuous Improvement efforts in the hub through standardization of processes via End to End optimization, lean, advanced technologies, and digitalization especially in the SCM GBS function.

  • Develop and coach the value stream team members on Daily Management and Pride Problem Solving techniques.

  • Work closely with the process lead and functional leaders to drive cross value chain End to End integration.

  • Provide Lean Basics and Problem Solving training for the Nashville Hub as scheduled by the Hub leadership team.

  • Partner with other Operational Excellence team members and business leaders to conduct Kaizen events and various Lean brainstorming and whiteboard sessions.

  • Partner with the Operational Excellence team to tracks Continuous Improvement projects within the hub.

  • Other duties and responsibilities as required.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor of Science in business or engineering field of study

  • MBA or relevant business experience preferred

  • 2+ years of experience successfully leading large complex programs, projects, and initiatives using a structured approach

  • PMI PMP certification or working towards certification a plus

  • Experience with and applying Change Management methodology in projects is highly preferred

  • Lean / Six Sigma / Continuous Improvement experience preferred

  • Subject matter expertise in all phases of development, launch, and maintenance including voice of the customer, requirements generation, design controls, verification, validation, usability, process validation, service, and support-readiness

  • Data-driven decision-making with the ability to move teams through vague and complex situations

  • Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Background in support, back office support services (credit, collections, order processing, quoting)
