Blevins, Inc., a financially strong, privately owned wholesaler of building supplies, is seeking an experienced candidate to join our corporate sales team who has what it takes to manage multiple complex projects to completion. The Installed Services Project Manager will be located in our corporate office in Nashville, TN. This key member of our team will lead projects through every stage of the project life cycle, from planning to delivery. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and time management skills with a strong attention to detail. Primary responsibilities include:

  • leading project planning sessions to set project goals and objectives

  • determining project timelines, defining tasks and outlining resources necessary to successfully complete projects

  • monitoring the progress of projects, including addressing issues that may arise and ensuring project deliverables are completed on time

  • using an appropriate tracking tools to coordinate different project elements

  • organizing regular status and review meetings as necessary, including generating and distributing meeting minutes

  • synthesizing and analyzing data to prepare accurate financial forecasts and reports

  • gathering resources, identifying potential constraints based on activities and timeframes, and defining solutions to manage any constraints

  • managing relevant budgets while ensuring compliance with processes such as RFP generation and PO generation

  • maintaining adherence to company style and branding in all outgoing communications

  • participating in designing, submitting, and reviewing formal and informal tenders

  • regularly reporting to management and relevant stakeholders on the progress of the projects, challenges, resolutions, and alterations

  • conducting project reviews, including creating detailed reports for executive staff and identifying areas for future improvement

  • ensuring all project deliverables, deadlines, and client expectations are met

  • optimize and improving processes, identifying growth opportunities, and initiating new projects

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-3 years relevant work experience

  • Strong work ethic and a positive attitude

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Demonstrated expertise in project management through all phases of project life cycle

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and programs including Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook

  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail

  • Strong management, leadership, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to present technical information clearly and concisely at an appropriate level to the target audience

  • Ability to solve problems by systematically analyzing issues, drawing logical conclusions, and recommending practical solutions

  • Flexibility and creative thinking

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively direct, coordinate, and follow up with team members to ensure timely completion of project deliverables

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and time constraints in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage the workload of multiple projects

  • Proven ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders

  • Experience with confidential and sensitive information
