The Operational Excellence (OE) team, within GCS, is instrumental in driving these objectives by supporting the core operation functions that underpin GCS. The OE team is responsible for ensuring organizational priorities are executed in a manner consistent with internal policy as well as external/regulatory expectations while enabling business growth, achieving superior customer experience and driving risk mitigation and operational efficiencies.
Job Description:
We are seeking a driven, strategic, and innovative professional to join our team as Program Manager/Director of our GCS OE Anti-Money Laundering, Sanctions and Anti-Corruption (ASA), Data Risk Management (DRM) and Privacy organization. You will report to the Vice President of the organization and will be located in the New York, Phoenix, Salt Lake City or Florida location.
Key Responsibilities:
Knowledge of Program management standards and methods
Daily Program Management throughout the program lifecycle
Ability to juggle multiple and competing priorities – work well under pressure
Build relationships with business partners, stakeholders and colleagues including Compliance, Technology, Sales, Account Development, Data Management and other colleagues to promote collaboration
Ability to work with various central groups and teams in matrixed organization with ambiguity as established model evolves
Effective leadership and problem-solving skills
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
Ensure consistent, effective and impactful program deliverables so to keep in line with the regulatory and internal compliance demands, provide support and guidance to the team members
Support and enrich program governance and framework
Track and manage Program risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies (R.A.I. Ds)
Identify program gaps and escalate appropriately
Manage and draft program updates across the organization
Strong presentation skills, stakeholder reporting
Ensure high-quality and effective execution and delivery of program deliverables
Build awareness and visibility of Program
Ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
Ideal candidate will be highly motivated and able to lead, culturally aware
10 years of experience reporting to senior executives
Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to collaborate and work effectively with internal colleagues across the enterprise
Strong Program and Project Management skills with track record of managing multiple projects in a high-pressure environment
Proven strategic thinker with the ability to prioritize and implement
Preferred Additional Qualifications:
10 years’ experience in Regulatory space
10 years’ experience in Banking/Financial industry working with senior leadership
10 years’ experience working on strategic initiatives, designing vision, uplifting programs
Ability to effectively work with stakeholders at different levels across the blue box
Strong ability to multi-task, work independently, and prioritize effectively
Comfort with taking the lead, defining strategy, recommending solutions, and informing stakeholders
