DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES UNDER EACH OF ABOVE BASIC FUNCTIONS:1. Knowing, developing and maintaining the elevator market and Otis growth1. Forecasting and target setting2. Meeting customers to assess their requirements3. Developing and increasing customer database4. Preparing and maintaining Customer History Card for major customers5. Establishing product strategy for allotted territory or account depending on market trend6. Identifying and maintaining rapport with key persons in major customer organizations7. Keeping customer informed, updated and equipped with product development andliterature8. Market survey9. Knowing competitors10.Special focus on major projects2. Generating esquires and finalization of orders1. Generating and attending new inquiries2. Preparing sales negotiation data sheet3. Preparing and submitting model elevator proposal4. Preparing and submitting tenders5. Attending prebid meetings, tender opening6. Attending negotiation meeting7. Follow up on proposals and tenders8. Negotiation and finalising of orders9. Processing of orders received3. Contract Management1. Preparing of documents such as layout request, change in contract, finalised layout etc.2. Coordinating with internal customers ( Contractors, Sales HO and Accounts ) and internal customer in variousstages of the contract till the final payment is collected and handover ceremony performed.4. Supporting the sales and marketing function1. Giving suggestions, in interest of organising2. Feedback and presentation on market, industry competitor3. Preparing and making presentation to internal customers4. Updating oneself on company policies, sales procedures and attending identified trainingprograms Handling of any other special assignment discussed and given time to timeCustomer satisfaction and profit and interest of the company with in the ethical policyand the company is the bottom line of the above system

  1. Environmental Health and Safety1. Participate and facilitate participation of employees in the department in EH&S training as per EH&S plan.2. Conduct EH&S inspection/audit as per assigned quota and ensure completion of corrective actions within targeted completion date.3. Ensure EH&S rules and procedures are adhered to by all employees.
