JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description Purpose of Position: This senior-level Desktop Engineer will be responsible for providing day-to-day technical support to our internal customers as well as provide guidance and coaching to other members of the Desktop Engineering team. Support will include providing technical advice, guidance, and informal training to those using hardware and software programs. Timely resolutions of PC/network problems and implementation of desktops, phones, and other devices is needed. The ability to troubleshoot and restore routine technical service and equipment problems by analyzing, identifying, and diagnosing faults and symptoms using established processes and procedures is required. The position performs root cause analysis, develops checklists for typical problems, and recommends procedures and controls for problem prevention. This role will work closely with the server, network, and security teams in implementing new hardware and in problem resolution. Provides 24 x 7 on-call support as assigned. What You'll Do: Coach, mentor, and assist the staff of Desktop Support team and 3rd party technical support consultants Closely monitor service desk tickets and assign the work appropriately Understand the customer's perspective when working to troubleshoot and resolve desktop support issues. Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve system hardware, software, and networking issues. Work with hardware and software vendors to procure new equipment and to verify timely product delivery. Use SCCM and Service Now to maintain the company's hardware and software inventory. Maintain the current operating procedures within the IT department. Occasional weekend and after-hours work will be required. Occasional travel between buildings and stores is required. Shift flexibility is required. What We're Looking For: 5+ years of relevant experience Bachelor's Degree in a related field Experience supporting desktop applications at the user level Solid experience with SCCM, mobile devices, printers, VOIP phones, and thin clients Experience in a large, enterprise environment Strong customer service skills Excellent desktop hardware and software diagnostic capabilities Mobile Device Management MAC Administration VB and PowerShell scripting Application packaging skills Who We Are: We are a "no bull" brand that started in 1989 and we provide apparel and other gear for hardworking men and women.
