Abbott Technical Solution Design Specialist in Moscow, Russia
Core Job Responsibilities
•Work together with the commercial team to plan, prioritize prospects and customer contact towards achieving agreed business aims
•Plan and manage the lab solutions portfolio according to an agreed market development strategy
•Maintain and develop existing and new customers through workflow consulting and ethical sales methods;
•Manage product/service mix, pricing and margins according to agreed aims
•Use customer and prospect contact activities tools and systems, and update relevant information held in these systems
•Respond to and follow up customer/sales team enquiries using appropriate methods
•Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings to develop sales opportunities and aid business development
•Provision of technical information and responses for the tender and contract team; where appropriate complete tender documentation
•Support the marketing activities and integrate sales efforts e.g., product launches, promotions, advertising, exhibitions, etc.
•Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant value gap reports and information to area marketing
•Liaise with implementation team to ensure that our laboratory solutions are executed according to customer need and sales process
•Provide post implementation workflow consulting to ensure customer expectations and value propositions are delivered and recognized
•Achieves consistent high level of customer satisfaction
The core responsibilities of this role are;
•Understand the customer goals and define KPIs in order to achieve better measurable performance outcomes.
•Keep a holistic approach to create solution using 3rd party providers.
•Drive and maintain the sales cycle in the appropriate pace.
•Configure the best solution for the customer needs based on quality, cost effectiveness and timely services.
•Ensure the created solution to deliver the expected performance.
TSD specialist is responsible for the dedicated projects, will work hand in hand with the acquisition / Customer experience team and with the other TSD members.
Position Accountability / Scope
TSD Specialist is accountable for understanding the customer needs, pain-points and should successfully map the existing process and design the future state with the quantifiable outcomes. Should work hand in hand with Acquisition team members (internal) and lab managers, lab directors, Procurement managers, Chief Finance Officers and Chief Executive Officers (External).
Educated to degree level or equivalent, ideally in a science based or economics/business studies related discipline and/or equivalent experience.
Minimum Experience/Training Required
Minimum of 2 years track record in the diagnostics industry with demonstrated success
Fully conversant in consultative selling techniques and methodologies
Ability to work/influence across multiple Abbott divisions (ADD/AMD/APOC)
Collaborative enterprise thinking; Willing to adapt to and drive organizational change
Thought leadership; Ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships
Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills; Willingness to work in cross-functional teams
Ability to develop and champion new ideas and approaches
