We're growing and want you to be a part of our Appraisal and Tax Division, which currently has approximately 600 employees.We are looking for an HR professional to provide the full range of human resources services and to partner closely with our technology leaders involving software support, product and development. The HR Rep partners closely with the business on talent acquisition and onboarding, employee and manager development, performance coaching, compensation, benefits, culture, policy/process improvement and other HR support. This position involves a balance of HR representative and recruitment accountabilities.This position is located in the Dayton Metropolitan Area accessible from Dayton, Cincinnati, and surrounding areas with an office space focused on ergonomics with a fitness center for our employees. Initially the position will remote due to COVID.Tyler offers competitive salary including a 401K with employer match, employee stock purchase plan as well great health benefits.If you are a resourceful, well-rounded HR Rep with strong relationship building and collaboration skills and passion for learning the business and consulting with managers/employees on solutions to meet business and goals with a strong understanding of employment laws we'd love to hear from you.ResponsibilitiesGuide manager and employees in a full range of HR areas such as Recruitment/AA/Workforce Planning/Contract Labor, Talent Development/Engagement, Employee Relations, Policy, Benefits/Wellness, Ergonomics, Compensation/Total Rewards, Diversity and Inclusion, Organization Structure, etc.Provide creative solutions to identify quality professional and technical talent (such as software development, product and support positions); constantly innovating and iterating on the approach to sourcing new talentPartner with technical leaders on headcount planning and goals (short and long term)Recruit, screen/interview and hire including offer negotiation, recruitment strategy, affirmative action planning/reporting and networking/sourcing (i.e. social media, job fairs, campus recruitment and other programs) involving manager consultation and training on processes, techniques, interview and related areas as appropriateExecute and enhance onboarding and other HR processes ensuring a positive candidate and employee experienceHandle separation processes and analyze and address exit interview data as appropriateCreate and maintain job descriptions and communicate and evolve career paths as appropriateConduct investigations and consult with and train managers on various employee relations issuesAssist employees with and administer health, retirement, Family Medical and other Leaves, workers comp, benefits, and other programs in collaboration with team members and vendors as appropriateCollaborate with HR colleagues across the Appraisal and Tax division and other Tyler divisions on various projects and initiatives such as branding, best practices and process improvement, recruitment/HR related systems, internal tools/systems, onboarding, great place to work initiatives, diversity reach, growth strategies, career paths, training and development, etc.Build credible and trusting relationships with employees and hiring managersAssist administration with workers compensation and unemployment claim handlingAssist with employee and other HR/compliance-related information needed for proposalsMay include HR solutions for international projects at timesEnsure employment law compliance and manage immigration processQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Education,
