Lockheed Martin Project Specialist Senior in Moorestown Township, New Jersey

Description: This position is the Release Train Engineer for the Oasis Simulation product team. Oasis is a simulator framework used to represent interfaces and systems in real time to provide simulation, test and training needs for multiple programs across multiple lines of business. The RTE will work with the XEAT3C, XEAT3B and XEATS5 leadership team, the CSL leadership team, fellow RTEs, and the Oasis product organization to shape and execute the continuously evolving agile process.

The RTE will be responsible for deploying the agile process and the team’s adherence to it, continuously improving the process and its implementation, and leading the product train through the release business rhythm. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Facilitates Oasis Level processes and execution, escalates impediments, manages risk, and helps drive product level continuous improvements; Leads Agile for Oasis product line (software and systems); Interface frequently with Oasis leadership to help manage the progress of teams through careful attention to agile metrics; Flow CSL process changes to Oasis agile teams; Schedule and lead the scrum of scrum meetings and product demos/status meetings; Coach leaders, teams, and scrum masters in agile practices and mindsets including continuous integration, scrum, and retrospectives; Report and share best practices and issues with the process to the CSL agile lead and other CSL RTEs.

In addition, this role may support other CSL Software Project Managers within XEAT3D with software management activities including but not limited to maintenance of SWCR allocations; collection and reporting of metrics for presentations and customer reports; and other assignments delegated by the CSL Software Project Managers.

Basic Qualifications:

Engineering or Computer science degree in engineering/technical discipline; demonstrated project leadership skills, ability to work independently and lead team; Experience using Starsys, Clearquest, and JIRA.

Desired Skills:

- B. S. in Engineering or Computer science; Master’s degree in an engineering discipline preferred

- Demonstrated project leadership skills, ability to work independently and lead team; EVM Certified

- Experience as an Agile team Lead (Product Owner, RTE, etc.)

- Experience using Starsys, Clearquest, and JIRA

- Candidate must be well versed with system and software engineering processes throughout the Systems Engineering Lifecycle Development process, including top-down design starting from high level system requirements through allocation to system elements and finally to software components

- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance
