Virgin Galactic Internship Engineering - Summer 2021 in Mojave, California

The Spaceship Company (TSC) is an affiliate of Virgin Galactic as a space-system manufacturing organization. Headquartered at Mojave Air and Space Port in Mojave, California, it is building and testing a fleet of WhiteKnightTwo carrier aircraft and SpaceShipTwo reusable spaceships that, together, form Virgin Galactic’s human spaceflight system. So, what do you need in order to join our team? Well, we want you to come as you are + a few other items…like:

  • Currently enrolled in an ABET accredited university, pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Science and Physics.

  • Education so amazing that it distinguishes the candidate amongst any applicants regardless of work experience.

  • Minimum 3.5 GPA is ideal, but not a deal breaker.

  • Ideal candidates have will have completed at least their sophomore year by summer 2021


  • Monthly socials to connect with the people you work with…because let’s face it. We all need that human connection.

  • Potential to attend one of the world’s largest STEM competitions – Aerospace Games!
