About the jobABOUT THE JOB:At Danone, Manufacturing the best products and supplying them to meet demand is a key driver for our plant teams. We have an opening for a Reliability Leader in our Minster, Ohio yogurt manufacturing plant. As a Reliability Leader, you will maximize the performance of packaging equipment and systems using Continuous Improvement tools and standards. And will be directly responsible for leading the mechanics supporting their team. Reliability Engineers are responsible for daily tactical execution of Daily Direction Setting priorities, coordination of mechanics, and execution and follow up of planned work. In addition, you will be responsible for providing input to planned maintenance strategies that support safety, people engagement, quality, cost, reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.Additionally, routine responsibilities include:Monitoring planned and unplanned downtime, breakdowns, MTBF, MTTR metrics for their lines.Coaching Operators and Mechanics in the use of CI tools and standards at the line level (IE. Center Lining and defects identification).Facilitating and or active participation in Root Cause Analysis discovery, execution, and trending improvements.Collaborating with / directing both hourly and salary personnel in the resolution of Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Mobilization, and Nature (SQCDMN) initiatives.Ensure the safety of our people and our products alwaysOther duties as assignedAbout youABOUT YOU:You will have a minimum of an Associates degree in a technical discipline. A Bachelors degree in any Engineering discipline is strongly preferred.You have 5 - 10 years related experience and/or training within a CPG manufacturing environment, required. Prior experience in Food/Dairy processing is strongly preferred.You understand TPM and continuous improvement methods and have strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.You have knowledge of flow and valves, machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.You are proficient in the use of computers and have an understanding in programming and ladder logic.You have strong communication skills, both written, verbal, and interpersonal.About usABOUT US:At Danone North America, you'll work with some of the best-known food and beverage brands in the world like Activia, Silk, Horizon Organic, Two Good, Oikos, evian, and Happy Family.
