The Commons, located in Minneapolis, is the headquarters of Allina Health, a not-for-profit health care organization serving patients and communities. Approximately 1,600 corporate and administrative service employees work at offices within Midtown Exchange, the site of the historic Sears retail complex at Chicago Avenue and E. Lake Street. This community landmark, adjacent to the campus of Abbott Northwestern Hospital, part of Allina Health, is the second largest building in Minnesota and includes offices, an internationally themed public market and residential units.

Responsibilities

  • Adherence to defined schedules and procedures

  • Answering incoming phone calls

  • Research solutions and provide resolution steps where possible or routing when necessary by following defined procedures

  • Document support notes

  • Utilizing and contributing to the knowledge base

  • Stay informed about the continually changing aspects of supporting an integrated Electronic Medical Records solution

Education

  • 2 Year Technical College or Vocational School – minimum requirements

  • 4 Year college degree preferred

Qualification/Skills

Experience

  • 2 years previous experience supporting an integrated Electronic Medical Records solution in a high call volume call center

  • Responding to and diagnosing technical computer and application support incidents

Skills

  • Able to quickly and effectively utilize knowledge base tools for incident recognition, research, resolution and routing to support engineers

  • Typically is able to resolve less complex incidents immediately, while more complex incidents are assigned to next level of support

Work Schedule

As needed to support a 24x7 IT call center.
