Job Summary: This position is responsible for analyzing borrower data, recommending action plans to leadership, and implementing dialer and correspondence collections strategies. Analyze trends in defaulted student loan collections. Maintenance of revenue models used by finance for financial reporting. Review and measure guarantor revenue performance against financial targets. Responsible for overall performance tracking, including third party servicing clients. Work with each department to develop reporting strategies to ensure revenue targets are met. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage daily, weekly and monthly performance reporting for operations Maintain financial forecasts for the business and track key metrics and variances Support strategic business decision making through financial modeling and analysis for business and product teams, including ad hoc modeling and analysis Create and manage third party servicing client reporting. Strive to constantly improve accuracy by understanding the underlying business drivers and work cross-functionally to fully understand pertinent data Implement and maintain budgeting process for operational leaders Collaborate with corporate finance department to create and update annual budget Develop and implement dialer strategies aimed at meeting revenue goals Create and maintain workforce models to ensure optimal staffing levels for all operational areas Explore and research variations and patterns in the data that will influence improved recovery efforts Assist in preparation of KPI materials for executive leadership and board updates Collaborate with key business partners to meet department goals Complies with all ECMC Group Policies Performs other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE Required: 4-year college degree required. 5 years minimum in a management/leadership role Preferred: Post-secondary degree Project Management experience KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES Excellent oral and written communication skills Excellent organization skills Proficient at statistical and competitive analysis Proven track record of strong financial and strategic analysis, and delivering recommendations based on this analysis Ability to effectively analyze and use operational, financial, and borrower data to maintain and improve collections results Ability to work well under deadline pressure Ability to develop and deliver effective presentations Ability to quickly adapt to a constantly changing market Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint SUPERVISION/CONTACTS Reports to Director, Analytics and Revenue Management Direct Reports - Accountable for leading a team of financial analysts that create short- and long-term financial forecasts, Workforce management, and a dialer and correspondence team. WORK ENVIRONMENT - Office: Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office environment that requires normal safety precautions (such as in typical office or administrative work).
